Tips for Better Audience Overlay Results
Use Descriptor Variations: Changing the descriptor can return different results:
- "blank" (no descriptor)
- "works in"
- "interested in"
Be Specific with Terms: General terms can return broad or unintended results.
Example:
- "cat" may refer to the animal OR CAT (Caterpillar construction equipment company)
- More specific: "cat owners" or "feline enthusiasts"
Important Notes
Human Review: Generated audience overlays are subject to human review and modification by the campaign activation team. If results seem inaccurate, they will be corrected:
- At launch
- During mid-flight optimizations
Manual Modifications: When you export the PowerPoint, you can manually modify audience overlays in the downloaded file.
Don't Worry: Inaccurate results will be caught and corrected during the review process
